Batman would not be amused.
A pleasant Mother’s Day afternoon in one of London’s most exclusive neighborhoods was smashed to pieces when a Lamborghini Aventador roared down a street, lifted off the pavement, hit one car and clipped two more.
The smash-up was caught on video and posted on YouTube on Monday. It’s not often you see a car worth more than $400,000 crash; the video has been viewed more than 3 million times.
One of the cars hit by the matte-black Lamborghini on Sloane Street in Knightsbridge on Sunday was a mere BMW owned by an art consultant, according to the Evening Standard. She returned from lunch with her daughters to find a letter of apology on her windshield.
“The Lamborghini was being towed away and the owner came up and explained what had happened,” Lila Afshar tells the Standard. “He was really apologetic about it.”
