It’s no surprise that Russia’s treasure is petroleum products, or that Germany makes motor vehicles. But some of the data are unexpected: India makes the most from precious stones; Mexico’s gold comes from clothing and shoes; follow the rainbow in Ireland and you’ll find a pot of computers. You might expect the U.S. to be a carmaker, but that’s Canada.
